The structure Curves

This is the C definition of the structure:

typedef struct curves {
char cmt[mw_cmtsize]; /* Comments */

Curve first; /* Pointer to the first curve */

If `curves`

is of `Curves` memory type, then `curves->first`

is
of `Curve` memory type and it is the first curve of the set;
therefore, `curves->first->first`

is the first point of the first
curve.
`curves->first->next`

is the second curve, etc.
The end of the set occurs when the `next`

field of a curve is
`NULL`.
