cfsharpen

$ \bigcirc$Name

cfsharpen Sharpening of a color image using linear filtering

$ \bigcirc$Command Synopsis

cfsharpen [-p p] [-l] A B

-p p : percent of sharpening, default is 75%

-l : perform sharpening on the luminance component only

A : Input Cfimage

B : Output sharpened Cfimage

$ \bigcirc$Function Summary

Cfimage cfsharpen (A , B , p , LumOnly )

Cfimage A , B ;

float *p ;

char *LumOnly ;

$ \bigcirc$Description

This module implements a simple sharpen filter on color float images. It works the same way as fsharpen, but the filter is applied on each component of the color image instead of only the gray level component.

If option -l is set, the colorimetric model of the input image is assumed to be RGB and an internal conversion to the HSV model is performed. Then, the sharpen is applied on the luminance component and a conversion back to the RGB model is done.

See documentation of fsharpen to get the filter used on one component.
