osamss [-i] [-p] [-S Step] [-m MinGrad] [-f firstScale] [-l lastScale] input output



-i : flag to cancel isotropic diffusion in smooth area

-p : flag to compute AMSS model (power 1/3) instead of MCM (power 1)

-S Step : scale step for each iteration (default 0.1)

-m MinGrad : Minimum of the gradient norm to compute the curvature (default 0.5)

-f firstScale : first scale of diffusion (default 0.0)

-l lastScale : last scale of diffusion (default 2.0)

input : original picture (input Fimage)

output : result (Fimage)

This module implements the AMSS model as a stack filter (osher-Sethian scheme). It decomposes all level sets of the input image, applies the module amss to the characteristic functions of these level sets, binarizes the result to obtain a new set, an then reconstructs the output image from these new level sets. The algorithm obtained this way commutes with any contrast change u $ \mapsto$ g(u), where g is an increasing scalar function.
