mscarea compute the area of a morpho set, from a cimage

mscarea [-c] [-o O] [-s stoparea] U a b x0 y0 .



-c : 8-connexity (default : 4)

-o O : Output the m.s. in a cimage

-s stoparea : stop when the given area is reached

U : input cimage U

a : min value a for the m.s. {(x,y)/ a <  = U(x,y) <  = b}

b : max value b for the m.s. {(x,y)/ a <  = U(x,y) <  = b}

x0 : x0 coordinate such that the point (x0,y0) belongs to the m.s.

y0 : y0 coordinate such that the point (x0,y0) belongs to the m.s.

Let U be the input image, (x0, y0) the input coordinates and a, b the minimum and maximum values. The module computes the connected component of the following morpho-set S, such that the point (x0, y0) belongs to it:

S = {(x, y)/a $\displaystyle \leq$ U(x, y) $\displaystyle \leq$ b}

More precisely, the module returns the area (computed as the number of pixels) associated to the connected component of S. By default, the 4-connexity is considered. Use the option -c to get the 8-connexity.

If the option -o is selected, the connected component is copied into the output image O. The option -s allows to stop the computation when the given area is reached.
