tjmap map the T and X junctions of a cimage

tjmap [-c] [-v] [-a tarea] [-q tquant] U J .



-c : 8-connexity (default : 4)

-v : plot in J the pixels values of the junctions

-a tarea : area threshold

-q tquant : quantization threshold

U : input cimage U

J : output cimage J : location of the junctions (map)

This module maps in the output cimage J the junctions found in the input cimage U : if the point (x, y) is a junction, the value of J(x, y) will be 255 and 0 elsewhere. The module returns the number of junctions found. For a description of the junction detection algorithm, please see [CCM96],[CCM99] and [Fro99].

The option -a allows to choose the area threshold associated to the detection, while the option -q is related to the quantization threshold. Those thresholds are used to avoid false detections.
