faxpb Gain/Offset correction to a Fimage (a x plus b)

faxpb [-a a] [-s s] [-M M] [-b b] [-m m] [-k] in out



-a a : set a directly (default: 1.0)

-s s : set a indirectly by selecting the output standart deviation s

-M M : set a indirectly (and b=0) by selecting total mass M

-b b : set b directly (default: 0.0)

-m m : set b indirectly by selecting the output mean m

-k : set b indirectly by keeping input mean

in : input Fimage

out : output Fimage

This module performs a so-called ``gain-offset correction'' on the Fimage in to obtain an image out defined by

out(x, y) = a . in(x, y) + b.

The values of a and b can be set directly or indirectly in terms of mean, total mass or standart deviation of the output image.
