fthre Threshold/normalize the pixel's gray-levels of a fimage

fthre [-n] [-N] [-m min] [-M max] fimage result



-n : Normalize pixel values from actual to [min,max]

-N : Normalize pixel values from actual or [min,max] to [0,255]

-m min : Force minimal pixel value

-M max : Force maximal pixel value

fimage : Input fimage

result : Output image

fthre copies the input image in the output and makes a thresold into the following interval:

Using the option -n you can normalize the image before the thresholding. In that case, you must select both -m and -M and the normalization consists to apply an affine transformation on the gray levels, such that the lowest level becomes the level min and the greatest level the level max.
