snoise

$ \bigcirc$Name

snoise Put noise on a Fsignal

$ \bigcirc$Command Synopsis

snoise [-g std] [-t t] [-n] in out

-g std : additive Gaussian noise with standard deviation std

-t t : transmission noise : t percent of signal values are lost (set to 0)

-n : in order NOT to reinitialize the random seed

in : input Fsignal

out : output Fsignal

$ \bigcirc$Function Summary

Fsignal snoise (in , out , std , t , n_flag )

Fsignal in , out ;

float *std , *t ;

char *n_flag ;

$ \bigcirc$Description

This module corrupts a Cimage with additive Gaussian noise or with ``transmission noise''.

With the -g option, a white Gaussian noise with standart deviation std is added to each sample of the signal (see fnoise module for more details on Gaussian noise).

With the -t option, each sample is set to zero with probability t/100.
