Cfezw Compress a color image with EZW algorithm

Cfezw [-R Rate] [-c] [-b1 BiFilt1] [-b2 BiFilt2] [-o OrthoFilt] [-e EdgeFilt] image

This macro compresses a RGB color image using the EZW algorithm [Sha93] applied to the orthogonal/biorthogonal wavelet coefficients. It is based on the cfezw module, but is simpler to use.

It works exactly in the same way that the Fezw macro for graylevel images, except that there is a possibility to convert the image from RGB to YUV representation before compression, using the -c option.

The target rate (if -R option is selected) is the same for red, green and blue channels. Notice that Rate is a target bit rate per point and per channel. Unlike Cfwvq, only one compressed file is generated (*_Ratec.comp if the input image file is *.rim or *.img). The quantized image is put in *_Rateq.rim.

Details about wavelet transform are the same as for Fwlbg_adap macro. The reader is refered to its documentation for information about the -b1, -b2, -o and -e options.

As for Fezw, none of the -r, -n, -w, -P and -s option is selected when calling cfezw module.
